Shubham Chandra has over 20 years of experience with helping clients leverage technology to gain competitive advantage through product development, technology evaluation, and market assessment. He currently has 8 patents and 7 patent-pending in the agriculture technology space. His patented technologies are currently being used for shelf life extensions of a variety of fruits, vegetables and cut flowers. In lieu of the shelf life extension technology, he has extensively worked with farmers/farming organizations/retailers in India, Kenya and Mauritius, to help them achieve reduced Post Harvest Losses for their fruits and vegetables, enabling them to achieve increased food security for their produce.

Shubham has previous experience with other shelf life extension technologies for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables including Active and Passive Modified Atmosphere Packaging Systems (MAPS) and has experience working with gas analysers, permeability testers, and other qualitative testing procedures utilized to show shelf life extensions for fresh fruits and vegetables. He has also worked with fresh fruits and vegetables, handling and storage protocols, consumer products, HVAC equipment, design, fabrication and testing of refrigerated containers, and test and evaluation of ethylene control devices.

Shubham has consulted with the Combat Feeding Directorate (CFD) at the US Army Soldier Systems Center, providing engineering, scientific consulting services to support, develop, test and procure Refrigerated Container Systems; and Field Feeding Equipment, designed to transport, temporarily store and distribute temperature sensitive cargo and provide fresh food to active troops. Shubham is an angel investor at Agribusiness Academy and sits on the Board of Directors as well.
